The Michigan State International Law Review is now soliciting short articles for its new online companion, Forum Conveniens.
Style
Forum Conveniens will feature articles that are roughly two times the length of an average opinion/editorial newspaper article (i.e. 1,500-2,000 words). Submissions should be lightly footnoted and conform to the standards of the 19th edition of the Bluebook. Hyperlinks to sourced material are also encouraged to ensure optimal user access.
Content
Forum Conveniens submissions must have a substantial treatment of international law and be of “first impression,” meaning they have not been previously published in another magazine or website. Our Review also encourages authors and students to comment and reply to articles in the current issue of ILR or Forum Conveniens articles in order to create an engaging intellectual and scholarly dialogue.
If you are interested in submitting your article, please email the Managing Editors of the International Law Review at MichiganStateILR@gmail.com. (hyperlink)
